Every month GETDOT Cincinnati gets together to provide a place for people to meet with a cause in mind – Cincinnati’s less fortunate kids. Every event has a specific purpose in mind and Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is the charity we are supporting this month. Come out and join us at 5:30 pm at Tavern on the Corner in Kenwood for a drink and some good company for a great cause!
Charity of the Month:
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
We’re 2.6 million strong – 1.8 million girls and 800,000 adults who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™. It began over 100 years ago with one woman, Girl Scouts’ founder Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low, on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the first Girl Scout troop. In the Greater Cincinnati region we hold 40% of our council’s membership- nearly 19,000 girls and 9,000 volunteers here.
GSWO Mission: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
