Summer is upon us. We never thought it would get here when we were facing the cold. We thought it was going to be taken away from us in April. In May we saw our Chicago neighbors getting 45 degree temperatures. We're gonna party like its 1999 for Princess Paige Foundation!

Come and join us in showing your support for the foundation! Get a friend with you to help Getdot grow and make a bigger impact!

Charity of the month: Princess Paige Foundation

After the heartbreaking loss of Paige, those who loved her dedicated themselves to honoring her memory by organizing a 5k run.  Their first annual Princess Run was on May 21, 2011.  With over 1,000 people in attendance, they raised over $31,000 for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital OT/PT department.

The group has started this non-profit foundation to provide families in need scholarship and grant opportunities for adaptive equipment and non-covered therapeutic services.  The foundation hopes that Paige’s sweet and powerful story can live on in the lives the foundation touches.
