Do you know what to expect going into 2017? Join our four panelists as they break down the expected salary trends, economic trends and legal/benefit trends for 2017. These are important issues that affect your business, you on a professional level and even you on a personal level. We only do this event every 2-3 years, so don’t miss your opportunity to get the most up to date information and start preparing for 2017.

Topics will include:

· Overview of Salary Trends in the US & Canada, gain competitive market share
· How to prepare for salary changes in professional positions for 2017
· Overview of current trends in the economy and where we might be headed into 2017
· Thoughts on the business cycle, The Fed, interest rates and on navigating the overall market landscape
· Legal trend as it relates to the economy
· Economic changes based on the 2016 Election
· New laws/mandates going into effect in 2017 and how it could impact the economy

After the presentations, there will be a guided question & answer session with the panel.


Speakers:

 

Chris Janson, Robert Half

Chris Janson is a Regional Vice President with Robert Half, the largest global Professional Staffing firm, managing local operations here in Cincinnati. Chris has been with Robert Half since 2003, starting his career in Accountemps and expanding his reach to include OfficeTeam, Robert Half Healthcare, and Robert Half Finance & Accounting. He has been recognized for his sales and leadership excellence through Robert Half’s Reach for the Stars honor. Chris is a Clarion University of Pennsylvania alumnus, both Bachelor and MBA however, he’s originally from Northern Kentucky and currently resides with his wife and two boys in Anderson.
 

 

Chris Hagedorn, First Financial Bank

Chris Hagedorn, CFA joined First Financial Wealth Management as Director of Research and Portfolio Strategy. Chris has more than 14 years of experience in the investment industry. He is responsible for implementing First Financial Wealth Management’s investment philosophy and process in client portfolios. Chris is also responsible for asset allocation decisions and security due diligence for the organization’s broad investment strategies. Before joining First Financial Wealth Management, he was investment strategist and financial advisor for a team of advisors at Merrill Lynch. He previously served as a portfolio manager for Hilliard Lyons Capital Management where he helped manage several equity-based institutional strategies on the Growth & Income Team. Prior to that, he worked at Fifth Third Asset Management where he was a portfolio manager on several mutual funds and institutionally led portfolios as part of the Income Strategies Team. Chris has made appearances on Bloomberg TV/Radio and in various print publications such as Bloomberg, Barron’s, Reuter’s and SNL Financial.

Chris graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from the University of Cincinnati. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati. Chris has previously served as a committee member for BEAM Lighthouse Youth Services and as a local AAU basketball coach.
 



Kirk Koppenhoefer, First Financial Bank

Kirk has more than fifteen years of experience in the investment industry, with significant experience in both the equity and fixed income markets. He is responsible for overseeing the individual equities in client accounts, as well as FFWM’s large-cap equity portfolio strategy. Prior to joining First Financial Wealth Management, he was a portfolio manager and senior research analyst for RiverPoint Capital Management, an investment advisor with over $1.25 billion in assets under management. At RiverPoint, Kirk oversaw the company’s equity holdings as well as serving as lead portfolio manager on institutional fixed income accounts. Before joining RiverPoint, Kirk served as Senior Research analyst with Summit Investment Partners where he was responsible for the coverage of several sectors totaling more than $1 billion in investment-grade corporate debt holdings. Kirk has made appearances on WVXU’s “On The Money with Chris DiSimio” and in various print publications, including Bloomberg, Reuter’s and the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Kirk received his MBA with honors from the University of Cincinnati, and earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is Chartered Market Technician level 3 candidate, and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Cincinnati. 
 


 

David Pixley, Graydon Head

David is a trusted advisor to employers and in-house attorneys on a variety of legal topics. Graydon Head uses a collaborative approach in serving its clients, which allows him to provide top-notch client service with a unique understanding of each client’s needs.

David has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine on three occasions for his work in litigation and employee benefits.

David graduated from The Ohio State University, and is a die-hard Buckeyes fan, even though his law degree is from UD. Before attending law school, he worked as an analyst for the U.S. Army and after law school he was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. David lives in Springboro with his wife of nearly 12 years and their two kids, William and Caroline.
