About The Position

Are you someone who is highly organized and enjoys working with an amazing group of people? We have an immediate opening as an HR Generalist for a small, close knit, caring and passionate organization. In this position-you'll work closely with the leadership team helping to execute our talent management initiatives. You'll work both independently and as part of a dynamic team that likes to roll their sleeves up and get things done, well.

You will have the opportunity to constantly train and grow to stay abreast of changes in the many HR laws and trends. The HR Generalist will source, screen and interview applicants as well as hire and onboard. You will be responsible for all compliance and benefits. You will work closely with our staff with regards to training, benefit coverage, performance reviews and policies. A keen understanding of a compliant digital workflow is important.

Experience And Skills

  • You have a 4 year degree in HR, Sociology, Business Management, Marketing or related field
  • You have a current HR certification
  • Experience in HRIS systems is a must (Paylocity, ATS OnDemand, Employee Navigator is preferred)
  • Love organization, "owning" projects, coordinating and getting things accomplished.
  • Enjoy solving problems - you know how to think for yourself.
  • Can manage multiple projects and deadlines at once... you prioritize and manage your day with ease.
  • Are flexible enough to work as part of a team or as a soloist on projects.
  • Are a "people person" who communicates well and knows how to ask for what you want
  • Thrive on details... you don't like anything falling through the cracks!
  • Possess excellent administrative skills.
  • Have solid computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Organize company events
