About the job

The ideal part-time HR Consultant will be for a minimum of 6 months for 20-25 hours a week. This candidate should in-depth knowledge of HR Operations, HR Compliance, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Benefits, Payroll, and Employee Relations. They will have hands-on experience in dealing with office manager related tasks. This role is 50% remote. Office is located in Manhattan, NY. 

  • Provide support to staff with day-to-day HR and Administrative inquiries
  • Partner with the HR department on performance & career development
  • Assist in processing of payroll and employee benefits
  • Provide support for annual benefit Open Enrollment
  • Process 401(k) inquiries and leaves of absence
  • Assist in recruitment, utilizing LinkedIn
  • Process monthly HRIS reports
  • Provide backup to Human Resources staff
  • Liaison with building management
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Manage door access for employees
  • Point of contact for other offices inquiries, such as, travel arrangements
  • Responsible for meeting minutes as requested
  • Participate in initiatives from NY and Head Office

 

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Human Resources and Administration
  • Learning and Development background preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years in the Financial Services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues
