Human Resources Consultant (Part Time) at Confidential Partially Remote
About the job
The ideal part-time HR Consultant will be for a minimum of 6 months for 20-25 hours a week. This candidate should in-depth knowledge of HR Operations, HR Compliance, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Benefits, Payroll, and Employee Relations. They will have hands-on experience in dealing with office manager related tasks. This role is 50% remote. Office is located in Manhattan, NY.
- Provide support to staff with day-to-day HR and Administrative inquiries
- Partner with the HR department on performance & career development
- Assist in processing of payroll and employee benefits
- Provide support for annual benefit Open Enrollment
- Process 401(k) inquiries and leaves of absence
- Assist in recruitment, utilizing LinkedIn
- Process monthly HRIS reports
- Provide backup to Human Resources staff
- Liaison with building management
- Order office supplies as needed
- Manage door access for employees
- Point of contact for other offices inquiries, such as, travel arrangements
- Responsible for meeting minutes as requested
- Participate in initiatives from NY and Head Office
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years’ experience in Human Resources and Administration
- Learning and Development background preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in the Financial Services industry
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues
