In preparation for future needs, Donovan and Watkins has partnered with a variety of clients in the Chicago Area in a search for contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire Human Resources candidates at all levels!

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation
  • Identify and manage training and development needs for employee
  • Ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
  • Administer compensation and benefits
  • Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
  • Develop/implement/administer human resources policies and procedures
  • Review and update employee rules and regulations
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes
  • Implement and monitor performance management system
  • Support annual salary review
  • Administer employee discipline processes
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Maintain the human resource information system and employee database
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions

 

Highly Desired

  • 2+ years human resources experience 
  • Bachelor/Associate degree in business or HR is a major +
  • Knowledge of accounting software/ERPs and MS Office - particularly intermediate level Excel
  • Knowledge of generally accepted HR principles and practices
