Women Writing for a Change

Women Writing for a Change is non-profit organization that empowers individuals to develop their voices and their stories. We use writing as a tool for self-discovery and we are a safe and welcoming community where people come to be supported and inspired. We reach out to homeless teens and to adults with Down Syndrome and developmental disabilities. Our work also includes after-school circles with at-risk girls, our summer writing camps, work with cancer survivors and women experiencing pregnancy loss.
