Position Description:

Assisting Hands is seeking a dynamic person to lead all aspects of the Human Resources function. This person will work with the President and Owners of the company to enable the growth of the organization through leading HR practices. The company is expected to grow to 400 employees within the next five years. This position is key to the overall success of the organization, to manage its significant growth and expansion plans. A leader who is highly competent, a self-starter with good growth potential is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• With the owners of the company, lead the development of the company culture
• Develop and implement programs to achieve superior levels of employee engagement and turnover
• Lead talent management and development
• Collaborate with the owners on organization design.
• Lead and perform the recruiting process for caregivers, administrative staff and senior leaders
• Oversee the selection, implementation and administration of employee benefit programs
• Establish an HR support team
• Network with HR professionals in the local business community and provide thought leadership
• Lead compensation strategy

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience
• Experience working directly with and advising senior leadership, owners or division presidents
• Someone who has experience with a start-up or highly entrepreneurial organization
• Ability to work with executives as well as hourly personnel effectively
• Highly adaptable person to grow and change with the business growth
• Demonstrated solutions oriented proactive leadership
• Creative problem solving abilities
