HR Generalist

What you’ll do:

  • Recruit for open positions:  will be responsible for sourcing and attracting qualified candidates for open positions within the company. This involves creating job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Manage Social Media recruiting accounts:  will oversee and maintain the company's presence on various social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, to attract potential candidates and promote job opportunities.
  • Manage all Manufacturing hiring processes, including background and drug testing:  will coordinate all aspects of the hiring process for manufacturing positions, including background checks and drug testing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Facilitate the New Hire process from recruitment to onboarding/orientation: You will guide new hires through the onboarding and orientation process, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. This involves paperwork completion, orientation scheduling, and providing necessary information to new employees.
  • Process payroll and maintain HRIS system: You will handle the payroll process, data entry, and work with the HRIS system to ensure accurate employee records and payroll distribution.
  • Manage benefits administration, wellness activities, and serve as a liaison between employees and benefits administrators: You will act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries, coordinate benefit enrollment and changes, and assist with wellness activities to promote employee well-being.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs: You will address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters, including company policies, procedures, and various HR programs.
  • Maintain paperless HR system and employee tracking system: You will utilize the company's paperless HR system to organize and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, OR minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
