Paid Leave Policy Examples

I'd love to get your opinion/examples on something I'm currently working on.

I'm revamping our paid maternity/paternity/parental leave policy. We currently offer an additional three (3) paid weeks off for mothers for recovery beyond their normal vacation and sick leave.

I'd like to hear what others do/don't do. It would be great to have examples to use as a benchmark. I work in the Public Sector, but I'd love to hear from both Private and Public sector employers.
