Feedback on Paycom

(This came to me from a VP of HR - Steve)

I would like to hear from anyone who is a current client of Paycom as their payroll/HRIS provider.

We are in the process of demo'ing systems and would love comparable feedback, or a conversation with somebody who is a current client of Paycom versus UKG.

If you'd be open to me contacting you, please put it in the comments or let Steve know and he'll get your information to me.

Thanks!

  • We had Paycom when I first started here.  It has its good sides and bad.  We had difficulty with customer service, they could not seem to answer our questions.  Benefit feeds to the carrier were a nightmare & last but not least our computer with all of the training videos that were created by our company crashed and we could not retrieve them, I reached out to ask if they could get them for us off of their system and was told no.  Fast forward to being purchased by another company... they charged us $4000 to have the system open for 3 months and would not help us gather historical data.

  • We use paycom, 130 EEs,  14 states.    Overall, we have been happy with them and utilize most of the modules they offer.   Their BETI tool is nice for payroll.

  • We use Paycom and my two cents is that it is a highly customizable tool but because it has so many settings it requires admins to learn and maintain a lot.  Depending on what you need, it may be a great fit or it could be cumbersome if all you want is a basic system.

We are in the process of moving away from Paycom as we were cycling thru what seemed like a new rep every month and hard to get questions answered; also seemed like we were nickled and dimed for items- we’re a 400 ee company operating in 3 countries. It seems like the moment they merged with  the company they acquired that things changed
