Jr. Contract Compensation Consultant at Frazer Jones in New York, New York

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Year End Compensation Process
- Support 1,400 employees (Union and Non-Union)
- Support launch and usage for Workday for collecting compensation recommendations
- Run status and Audit reports
- Rollup of compensation for executive review
- Manage calendar/timeline. Keep everyone on track
- Year End Performance Management
- Support launch and usage of Performance Management (1,000 employees)
- Market Data/Surveys
- Provide compensation analysis as needed
- Utilize third party survey data and internal data for compensation analysis
- Provide ad hoc reports
- Internal/External Audit requests
- Ad hoc requests
- Maintain data integrity in Workday
- Maintain accurate supervisory orgs and comp budget owners
- Run reports for data compliance
- Work with HRIS team on any Workday module launches or enhancements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in a corporate compensation function preferred
- Must have had key involvement in full compensation cycle
- Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of HR processes in assessment of data and development of metrics
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Must have excellent analytical skills, and be able to compile complex data to create reports and/or materials to be used in making decisions for change within the organization
- Understanding of key financial metrics, ability to create internal programs and procedures
- Proven knowledge of compensation practices, as well as state and federal laws(i.e., Fair Labor Standards Act, and Wage and Hour)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include creation of spreadsheets, pivot tables, charts, and graphs. Intermediate experience with other Microsoft applications
- Workday experience required
This is a contract role that will last 6 months with the possibility of extension.
