Harassment and Employee Privacy

An employee filed a harassment complaint against another employee. After reviewing the evidence, the employee who was accused of harassment was terminated and is not allowed on the property of the business.

The employee who filed the complaint is currently trying to file a restraining order. However, the employee is struggling to complete the process because the law enforcement agency needs the address of the person against who the order is being filed.

The employee is requesting the address from our HR department. At this point, no employee information has been released. What should we do in this situation to adhere to employee information privacy but also assist the employee attempting to file the order?

Thanks for your insights on this.
