Job Opening – Human Resources Generalist with Berns Garden Center & Landscaping in Middletown, OH

As the HR Generalist at Berns Garden Center & Landscaping, you will perform a wide range of HR functions that include enforcing company policies and practices, employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and administering payroll and benefits. You will interact with all internal departments in multiple locations to execute routine HR tasks and programs.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be highly organized with strong problem-solving skills. Specific requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of Human Resources generalist experience required
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
• Familiarity with Paycom software (or other HRIS/payroll software) preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Familiarity with H2A/H2B Visa processes, preferred
