Hello, my name is Hayley Morrison.  I’m an Assistant Professor at Miami University in Ohio. I am reaching out to you to participate in a research study because of your expertise in making executive decisions about Corporate Social Responsibility.

A limitation of the current research on Corporate Social Responsibility is that researchers fail to account for managers’ unique understanding of the purpose of CSR for their companies. Therefore, in this study, I am asking managers to share the key pieces of information that they consider while making various decisions related to CSR. To be eligible to participate in this research you must be at least 18 years of age and currently work full-time in a managerial role where you make decisions about corporate social responsibility, as defined as “actions and practices of general managers that move beyond profit maximization and are aimed at increasing social/environmental benefits or mitigating social/environmental problems for stakeholders.”

If you are eligible and choose to participate in this research, completing the survey for this research should take about 15 minutes. You will begin this survey by clicking on the Qualtrics link below. The first half of this survey will ask some questions assessing your eligibility to participate in this research and also the industry that you work in. The second half of this survey will ask you questions about your decision-making process when it comes to enacting CSR strategies.
