Organized Living is looking for an HR Specialist that will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, benefits administration, and HR compliance. This role requires an understanding of HR policies and procedures, technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and coordinate recruitment efforts with hiring managers for job postings, resume reviewing, phone screening and scheduling of interviews.
- Ability to source and engage candidates for a wide range of positions and skill sets.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the onboarding process for new hires.
- Conduct and manage the full orientation process; including reviewing and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Facilitate the annual review process including analyzing and tracking of metrics of team productivity.
- Planning and implementing company team building events.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes and inquiries and be the liaison between employees and benefit providers.
- Ensures all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations are within current standing. Including EEO, ADA, FMLA and FLSA.
- Serves as the point of contact for Cincinnati based employees on all HR policies, benefits, and procedures, while reporting to the Head of HR located in Bloomington Indiana.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 2 to 3 years previous experience in HR or related field required.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 notably, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience with productivity monitoring software.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask with attention to details.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
