Interview Protocols During Pandemic
For those interviewing/hiring for office positions, how reasonable is it to expect video interviews rather than in-person during this time? If requiring in-person meetings, what is the expectation of mask-wearing for both the interviewer/s and the interviewee? If an interviewee showed up in a mask but the interviewer was not wearing one, would they be expected to stay and excluded from consideration if they did not?

We have been doing video interviews in place of most in-site interviews. We do an in-person final interview with the top candidate. We do require candidates and managers to wear masks and be physically distanced through the whole interview process. If the interviewee refuses, they self select out of the position. If the hiring manager fails to follow guidelines, we would address it through our corrective action processes.
