Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT is seeking a temporary, part-time HR Assistant to join our small HR team. Candidates should have 2-3 years of administrative experience including data entry and excellent customer service skills.
Temporary, Part Time Role: 20 hours per week (flexible schedule, Monday-Friday)
Reports to Acting Director of Human Resources
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be assistance with the current personnel file audit/project.
Additional Responsibilities will include:
- Translating new hire documents/policies into Spanish
- Serve as first point of contact for Human Resources Department by answering phones and emails and providing a warm welcome when greeting visitors
- Administrative tasks such as scanning documents, filing, ordering/maintaining office supplies
- Creating and maintaining employee files and new hire documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal information
- Additional duties as needed
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of administrative experience required
- Bachelor’s degree with Business or HR major preferred
- Prior HR experience preferred
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred
- Familiar with applicant tracking database systems is an asset
- Excellent customer service
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish required
