Benefit Elections Prior to an Employee's First Day
I'm interested to see if companies offer new hire benefit elections to be done before the employee actually has their first day. For example, the employee is offered and accepts a position with your company and is sent electronic onboarding to complete before they start. Part of that onboarding process would include enrolling in benefits. Does anyone work for a company that does this? What are the pros/cons of this process. Thank you!
