TECHNICAL RECRUITER ROLE
POSITION SUMMARY. The Technical Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and qualify candidates meeting the technical requirements, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics for posted technology positions. Collaborates with hiring managers to move identified candidates through recruiting and onboarding process efficiently and effectively.
JOB DUTIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. A qualified individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the job as listed, with or without accommodation. (An Asterisk (*) Identifies an Essential Function)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with hiring managers and Sr. Technical Recruiter to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions to ensure alignment with position requirements. (*) - Identifies and proposes the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates with the hiring and Recruiting Managers.
- Participates in creating a recruiting strategy for each open position, identifying appropriate job board, network or recruiting partner to source and build candidate pool. (*) - Collaborates with Sr. Technical Recruiter to drive activities ensuring a timely processing of identified candidates.
- Posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
- Develops collaborative relationships with placement agencies to assist with recruitment process.
- May participate in representing MediQuant at virtual and live job fairs at industry conferences.
- Recommends candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of the resumes, screening interviews and assessments. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other selection materials. Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Extends approved verbal offer to selected candidate. Collaborates with H.R. Generalist to ensure offer and administration activities are completed. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies

Required Education and Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field required.
- Three to five years’ related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.
- Thorough understanding of applicable recruiting policies; federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, preferred

SENIOR TECHNICAL RECRUITER ROLE

- Leads discussion and negotiation during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
