Employee Referral Bonus Program
Hello
My company is looking to revise our Referral Bonus program and I wanted to reach out to other HR professionals to find out how your referral bonus program is structured. We currently offer 200.00 referral bonus for all non-exempt positions after 120 days. And we offer 500.00 referral bonus for all Exempt positions after 120 days. Any additional information you're able to provide me regarding Referral Bonus programs is greatly appreciated.

We offer a referral bonus to all FT/PT employees that refer others to us. After 90 days of employment, they receive a $300 bonus and after 6 months, they receive another $200. Provided both are still employed and have at FT or PT status payment will be made. These are usually for hourly type positions in the healthcare/social services field.

Thank you for your reply. Do you mean that you provide another 200.00 bonus to both the referred, and referee associate, or just the associate who referred that candidate?

We provide a total of $500 for the current employee that makes a referral for the new hire. So yes, $300 at 90 days and another $200 at 6 months so long as they are both still employed.

We offer a $200 bonus for any type (FT or PT) of referral after they have been employed for 6 months.

Depending on the position type (Exempt or Non-Exempt) my company will award $500-750 after the 1st 6 months and another $500-750 after the next 6 months. Occasionally, they'll offer a larger amount if there is a need for hiring.
