Jeff Shoskin, a partner with Frost Brown Todd, will review the DOL’s recently issued Employer’s Guide to the FMLA.  Although (unfortunately) it does not address many of the thorny practical issues that continue to frustrate employers, the Guidance does provide an organized and useful overview of the FMLA. It includes numerous flow charts, which visually illustrate the various FMLA speed bumps employers experience when handling FMLA requests.  We think you will find this review worthwhile.
