This social media focused workshop will focus on three key areas regarding the use of social media platorms by both employers and employees. These three ares will consist of the use of social media to build the employers brand in the employment marketplace to attract talent to the organization. Secondly it will focus on different ways to use social media internally to build employee engagement and productivity. Finally it will cover legal concerns involved with the use of social media platforms by both the employer and employees.

Speakers:
Kendra Ramirez is a crazy sports mom who springs out of bed in the morning to conquer the world and annoys others who are not morning people.
Kendra is globally recognized on the home page of LinkedIn.com , John Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award recipient, AMA Marketing Legend and a finalist for the Social Media Innovator of the Year. Since 2005, she has helped hundreds of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, leverage digital technologies for real results. Kendra has spent more than 15 years in technology companies as a change agent in sales and recruiting leadership roles.

Stacy is a commercial litigation partner and vice chair of the Firm’s Media and Marketing Industry Group. She has extensive experience in matters ranging from complex commercial litigation to small business disputes. In any scenario, Stacy focuses on the efficient and practical resolution that best serves the client’s business interests. And as a former journalist, Stacy has the background and perspective needed to serve media, marketing, and branding clients with issues and disputes unique to the industry.
Stacy also serves as a leader of the firm’s IP practice group, focusing on the breadth of intellectual property disputes and advising. Stacy handles federal and state cases involving trademark, trade dress, copyright, and patent infringement claims, and disputes concerning proprietary information and trade secrets. She has served as lead trial counsel on numerous federal copyright infringement cases, securing favorable—and often profitable—resolutions for clients based on the strong positioning obtained through litigation and discovery strategy.
