HR Succeeds!

UC is excited to announce our new HR Succeeds Initiative which is designed assist students interested in a human resources career, reach their professional goals.

Our Mission: To provide students with an enriching, professional, and educational experience in hopes to grow their skills and knowledge in human resources.

Our Purpose: To help students gain hands-on HR experience to enter the field post-graduation and gain valuable networking opportunities with HR professionals.

Students will:

* become more networking savvy by joining and attending various SHRM and other HR events (including conferences)

* be matched with an HR mentor each semester they are involved with the initiative.

What are we currently looking for?

* We need 25 HR professionals to agree to mentoring 25HR student this fall.  Starting in September, students and their mentors will meet face to face once a month to cover specific mentoring discussion points.  (Yes, you can always agree to more (tours, HR shadows, etc.)

* We are also looking for 25 Internship opportunities for our students.
