Every month GETDOT Cincinnati gets together to provide a place for people to meet with a cause in mind - Cincinnati's less fortunate kids.  You can network with a great group of folks and help out kids.  It doesn't get any better than that.

Charity of the Month:

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church was founded in May of 1963. Since then, our congregation has served thousands in our community. We are a church of around 1100 members, where over 1/3 of our members are under 18.

We take high school students (8th – 12th grade) on a service trip known as the Discipleship Tour. We’ve taken service trips for over 15 years but this is our third official D-Tour.

This year’s D-Tour is headed to Baltimore, Maryland.  Students who attend these trips pay for a portion of their trip to Baltimore and we fund raise the rest.

These funds will help cover the costs of supplies (like sack lunches during our work days)or materials to help at service sites (like craft supplies for a kids’ camp).

We also have a number of students who seek scholarships for the trip, so the money may enable a family to participate but otherwise could not due to financial hardship.
