HR Manager laid off and looking for work (Madison, WI or Remote)

Open to New HR Leadership Opportunities

After over 12 years of progressive HR experience—and most recently serving as an HR Manager for 2.5 years—I find myself unexpectedly navigating a career transition. My position was recently eliminated, and while this change wasn't planned, I'm choosing to see it as an opportunity to step into something that’s a better alignment for my skills, values, and passion for people-first HR.

I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, a SHRM-SCP certification, and a deep background in both union and non-union environments. My career has spanned strategic workforce planning, employee relations, DEI initiatives, leadership coaching, labor negotiations, talent acquisition, compliance, policy development, and more. I’m proud of the reputation I’ve built as a collaborative, ethical, and mission-driven leader.

I’m now seeking a new opportunity where HR is truly valued as a strategic partner—ideally in a remote HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, or People Operations leadership role.

If you know of an organization looking for a seasoned, empathetic, and solutions-focused HR leader, I’d be grateful for the connection. And to anyone else currently in transition—you’re not alone. Let’s connect and support each other.
