We have an immediate opening for an Temporary HR Generalist with a focus in Benefits Administration for our client company in Carmel This is a great opportunity if you are interested in a career in Human Resources; including benefits administration, wellness programs and employee relations. Successful candidates need strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment for a company that offers a great, award winning environment!

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

• Administration of company benefit plans
• Act as liaison between employee and insurance provider to resolve any benefit-related issues
• Manage the leave of absence administration including FMLA
• Counsel and assist employees and managers with issues relating to benefit issues, employment, performance and work habits
• Lead wellness initiatives to create culture of well-being
• Serve as backup to payroll and HRIS functions

HR Generalist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in human resources or related field
• Previous human resource and benefits experience
• Knowledge of human resources and employment law
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills; experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
