Global Head of Talent for HR Recruitment Solutions - New York, New York (Remote)

We are pleased to be working with an ambitious, growing company to find a new Global Head of Talent.

As the Head of Talent, you will be accountable for the Talent Acquisition and Talent Development agenda globally. The company has grown rapidly both organically and by acquisition so you will have the opportunity to shape the talent strategy/plan to help them achieve their growth aspirations. Their CEO and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) hold their HR function in high regard and the company’s culture is very people-focused.

The role is remote, but an East Coast location is crucial in order to navigate the various time zones to be effective in the role.

The role will sit on the HR Leadership Team and will report to the CHRO. You will have responsibility for their Talent Development and Talent Acquisition teams (approx. 15 employees globally).

The key deliverables are:

  • Embed a culture of ‘talent progression’ in the business to ensure they have talent ready now (0-12 months), and ready for the future (12-24 months)
  • Improve the effectiveness of the Talent team to create repeatable interactions which deliver business value
  • Design and implement an over-arching Talent strategy that compliments the existing HR Plan and tools
  • Work with HRBP team to roll out and embed succession planning, driving awareness of and value from internal talent

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support, and improve the processes that help to attract and develop talent
  • Evolve and embed their approach to attracting new talent directly and via third parties
  • Evolve their digital learning and development offering
  • Champion modern performance management in the business
  • Ensure onboarding experience is scalable irrespective of new joiner volumes or work locations
  • Ensure all line managers have the skills, knowledge and tools to be confident, credible leaders of teams
  • Recommend and provide solutions for core skills needs identified in the business to help and scale and simplify
  • Develop and embed leadership and operating / technical skills frameworks

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong background in Talent Development / Learning & Development is essential.
  • Exposure to a range of companies across international markets.
  • Team management experience is essential
  • Experience in navigating a complex, matrix organization.
  • Confident with ambiguity and is both a strong strategist and executer.
