Nepotism Policy

I am working on a Nepotism Policy for a manufacturing plant in a small town. It needs to allow for family members in the workplace while putting some boundaries and protocols in place. Do you have experience with policies like this? Any tips? Samples?

    Hi Amani,

We have different store locations throughout the city, our policy is that no persons working in the same store may be in a higher position if they are family. For example, if a mother and daughter want to work at the same store, that is fine as long as no complications arise. However, if one is an assistant or general manager, they will not be allowed to work at the same location.

I'm not sure how exactly how this would work for your company, unless your employees are separated into different jobs and supervisors, but I hope it helps.

We are similar to below. Family members cannot work under another or in department. I am a supervisor in customer service but I do not supervise my son who is in a different department.
