The Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati is seeking an Assistant Professor - Educator who will teach in our BA in Organizational Leadership/Human Resources, BA Psychology, and MA in Psychology programs starting in August 2017. Likely courses include Foundations for Leadership, Organizational Behavior for Effective Leaders, Assessment & Evaluation, Training and Development, Diversity in the Workplace, HR Management and other HR/Leadership related courses. The normal teaching load for this position is three courses one semester and four courses the other.
This is a non-tenure eligible Assistant Professor - Educator position that is renewable upon satisfactory performance. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business, HR, or Psychology, coupled with significant industry experience. However, a Ph.D. in Psychology, Management, or a related field is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience as an excellent college instructor is required.
In addition to teaching requirements, the person who fills this position is expected to contribute significantly to the service mission of the OLHR program and Psychology department. Service duties might include advising students and promoting the program to prospective students. Accordingly, the desired candidate should possess strong organizational, communication, and analytic skills.
