Fake Job Postings?
I’m hearing from colleagues and HR Student Chapters that they are encountering companies who are posting “fake” jobs just to keep their business name relevant and/or appear to be growing/prospering. When folks apply they get a response such as, “we’ve decided to go in a different direction”. Is anyone else hearing this? Just trying to help guide our students and members who are out there searching for jobs.

I have seen fake job postings that were not posted by my Company! The location has been the Boston area only at a very small site. I have no idea why it would be a target and report the fake job postings when they are found.
