Looking for Greater Cincinnati companies to participate in a workplace research study for the University of Cincinnati
(This came to me from Troy Bartson a long-term HR Netter and HR consultant - Steve)
A friend who is a professor at the University of Cincinnati has an opportunity for local companies to participate in a research study and receive information regarding their employees. Here are the details:
We have submitted a grant proposal evaluating employees who predominantly work in an office space, both in a traditional office and at home. We seek to compare the total health of employees working virtually versus those working in a traditional office.
The assessment would include a survey at the start of the study (about 20 minutes to complete), evaluation of the workspace through taking pictures of the employee in their workspace, a monthly discomfort survey (less than 5 minutes to complete), and a survey after 1 year like the initial survey.
We are looking for 50 participants in both office types, but these will be from multiple companies. Would your company be willing to participate in our study and to allow access to your employees?
Nothing is binding and employees are free to volunteer or not for the study. You would just be giving us access to recruit. We will provide a final report to you concerning the workstations and the results of the study.
