Looking for Leadership and Management Competencies that Foster Employee Wellbeing
(This came to me from HR practitioner Amanda Langsley from Scotland - Steve)
I wanted to do some crowdsourcing with fellow HR Netters and ask:
"What do you see as the key leadership and management competencies that facilitate employee wellbeing?"
I'm trying to gather feedback in anticipation of how work and the workplace have changed over the past year plus. Thanks in advance for your feedback, ideas and insight.
I think employee creativity needs to be expected not just allowed. Leaders who let their employees be creative, let them make mistakes, let them pitch ideas to possibly create real value is a big winner for me right now. I guess if I had to narrow this answer down to one word it might be Flexibility.
