Bold HR Leadership: Showcasing the Competencies for Leadership

HR Leaders are some of the most influential in the organization. They don’t always know it, but it remains true nonetheless. Therefore, it is imperative they accept their roles as leaders, and equally imperative that they strive to build and improve upon their leadership competencies. Heather will present her HR Leadership Competency Model, which showcases competencies in three different areas: business transformation and growth; business management and execution; and interpersonal. She’ll highlight some key competencies and present some ideas on how HR leaders can begin to develop or improve upon them. Participants will gain a good understanding about using leadership competency models, and will be able to identify creative professional development ideas for not only themselves but for all current and emerging leaders in the organization.

Learning Objectives:
1) Understand the value of a leadership competency model 
2) Identify the different ways a leadership competency model is used in an enterprise setting 
3) Identify / understand a variety of Bold HR Leadership competencies 
4) Identify creative ways to develop and/or improve upon key competencies
