Wrap Documents
(This question came to me anonymously - Steve)
Our benefits broker has asked us to consider adding a Wrap Document so that all of our 5500 forms for our Group Benefits are under one system. Has anyone else had experience with this? What have you seen?
Thanks for your input and feedback.

While it can be time-consuming the first time you put a wrap plan together it’s totally worth it. It make it lot of things easier and more compliant with your plans. However, if you do it be sure you revisit it every year to make sure it stays up-to-date. Hopefully your benefits broker will be a good partner for you in this process and help you with your various drafts keep you on task for your annual updates. Agree with most of what has been said! Talk to your benefits broker! I know at my firm we do it for free to keep them in compliance. (No one likes a Department of Labor Audit).
I provided a sample Wrap Document from one of our HR Tool Platforms and some further information and hope it helps.
