HRIS system feedback

I recently began a new role with a small, family-owned company and am researching HRIS systems that could potentially be implemented. I am wondering if anyone has any feedback (positive or negative) on Paycom, isolved, or Criterion. I am wondering not only about functionality and ease of use but also about service after implementation.

Thanks in advance! - Julane

  • I had a nightmare of a time with Paycom.  They screwed up my implementation, especially with respect to local taxes, which is not the end of the world, but correcting or modifying anything on the tax side takes forever.  There customer support is short-staffed, especially their second level support so anything the direct contact cannot do takes many months to resolve (like tax agency notices and there is zero communication about the resolution).  They promised me things in the sales process that they could not deliver.  I needed them to issue a corrected W2 to include some third party sick pay which I gave them the information for on Jan 15th and the employee did not get a correct W-2 until September.  I couldn't wait to get rid of them.

I have not worked with any of the softwares you mentioned. I have worked with Ultipro which in my opinion is more of a business system. My favorite has been Paycor. It is very easy to navigate and create reports. We used the time and attendance, payroll and HR modules.
